The Newly Appointed Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration Mr Remigijus Lipkevičius

The Ministry of Transport and Communications informs that Mr Remigijus Lipkevičius, who has long-term experience with the state road sector activities, has been selected to take the position of the Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration. Mr R. Lipkevičius shall hold office after the verification procedure set by Lithuanian laws has been completed.

Mr R. Lipkevičius was heading the administrative divisions and working as Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration. Currently, he has been taking the position of the Acting Director.

The newly appointed director will be trusted to manage the strategically important SE Lithuanian Road Administration which administers state significance roads. The institution is starting its activities of the state enterprise from 1 September upon completion of its reorganization.

One of the key aims of the Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration is successful implementation of the institutional reoganization and effective use of funds allocated for state significance road maintenance and development.
